Well, the day is upon us. Ron will finally have surgery to remove his tumor on Thursday at the wonderful MD Anderson in Houston. Please see his note below and we ask kindly for all of your prayers and good thoughts in the coming days.
The big week has finally arrived. We are in Houston for a week of tests, doctor's visits, and SURGERY on Thursday morning. The tumor (if there are any remains) will be removed, biopsied and studied, as well as my complete insides.
We are excited to see what God has done. Please stay in prayer for:
1. Sucessful surgery with no complications
2. Quick, painfree recovery and return to Abilene
3. No signs of any cancer activity internally
4. Safety for Brenda as she commutes back and forth to the hotel
You all have been so faithful to pray, send words of encouragement, and those have sustained us and minimized the effects of chemo thus far. For this we are extremely blessed and eternally grateful. We have seen God at work in so many ways during this whole process.
May the Lord bless each of you who have been so faithful and encouraging to us.
